Your VODs, Trimmed and Ready to Upload

ZipClip watches for your new Twitch VODs, cuts off the starting-soon screen, splices in your intro, and hands the finished video to your upload tool. Once a day, all by itself.

Features

📥

Automatic Downloads

Checks for new VODs on your schedule and downloads them, skipping anything already processed.

🔍

Finds the Real Start

Detects the moment your waiting screen switches to the actual stream. No manual scrubbing.

✂️

Cuts Without Re-encoding

Trims the prestream section and splices your intro onto the front. No quality loss, no hours-long encodes.

📁

Watch Folder Handoff

Drops the finished file into the folder your upload software already watches. Your existing workflow stays the same.

🧹

Cleans Up After Itself

Deletes intermediate files once a VOD is finished, so your disk space stays yours.

How It Works

1

Download. Once a day, ZipClip grabs any new VODs from your Twitch channel.

2

Detect. It scans the video for the jump from your starting-soon screen to the real stream.

3

Trim and splice. The prestream wait is cut off and your pre-made intro is stitched onto the front, with no re-encode.

4

Deliver. The finished video lands in your upload tool's watch folder, ready to go to YouTube.

5

Clean up. Temporary files are deleted so the only thing left is the video you wanted.

ZipClip is currently an alpha release: the pipeline works end to end, but expect rough edges while it is tested against more channels. Manual mode never deletes anything without your approval, so your VODs stay safe while you try it.
